Gauge hatch closed to atmosphere
This type of gauge hatch is used in order to prevent pressure and vacuum loss inside a fuel oil tank and vapor loss in the process of measuring. The system consists of two parts. The first part takes a sample device or a meter inside and the upper lid is closed. Then the second part lid opens and the sample device or meter is dipped into the tank. Thus, the system is completely closed to atmosphere. Non-sparking aluminum is used for manufacture. Lid edges are reinforced with teflon o'rings to eliminate leak possibility. To prevent joints and locks breakdowns due to petroleum vapor and weather conditions they are manufactured of non-corrosive steel of aisi 316 quality. Connection parts are designed to be assembled in compliance with din 2631 nd 6 or compatible flanges and is manufactured between 4 and 8 inches in diameter.
